    Guy, you made it sound like when using 5 gallon buckets you should put the O2 absorber in the bucket on top of the Mylar. What I understand is you want a food grade O2 absorber and you want to put it inside the Mylar with the food. This takes out all the air that would oxidize the food inside the Mylar bag.

    Thanks Soapy! I want to go a bit more indepth in utilizing our Canadian environment for food storage. It almost makes winter bearable!

    I’m also still figuring out a way to vaccuum seal large quantities as well.

    Did anyone else have problems with the audio in this podcast? Around the part where Guy was discussing freezing it skipped like a scratched record for a while.
