Unfortunately, no. I could use an automatic translator, but those things are always off by a bit. Some of the things we talk about need to be very specific.

Just listening to this episode and reminded that I wanted to try out Biointensive Gardening - with the end goal of maximising production.

It's good to have on hand because it travels so well. For camping, hiking, bugging out, or storing in the vehicle for emergencies, freeze dried is awesome.

Some people balk at the price of freeze-dried food. Well, I looked into buying a very small freeze drying machine to do small batches for friends and family. Holy doodle are they ever expensive!!! And expensive to operate. They suck a ton of electricity. Even to have a freeze drying company process small batches is very expensive. So, the price is very reasonable for the effort and overhead that goes into making this stuff.

I appreciate the welcome and the kind words about our company, Safecastle. I just must correct one thing here--our Mountain House distributor in Ontario normally ships orders out within one to two days of order receipt. They ship by ground--often using Purolator. So you should expect to typically take delivery 7-10 days after placing your order with us.

Wow! Safe Castle's in Canada! This is exciting news. I am still working on my store-what-you-eat part of food storage, but after that is finished, I'll definitely be looking into freeze dried products.

Did anyone else have problems with the audio in this podcast? Around the part where Guy was discussing freezing it skipped like a scratched record for a while.

Guy, you made it sound like when using 5 gallon buckets you should put the O2 absorber in the bucket on top of the Mylar. What I understand is you want a food grade O2 absorber and you want to put it inside the Mylar with the food. This takes out all the air that would oxidize the food inside the Mylar bag.

Great podcast, Guy! - Really useful information. My husband has been looking at an affiliate program that charges something like $40.00/mth for their training. I've already bookmarked the 30 day challenge for him to have a look at when he gets home. Thanks, and great job!
